Adiel is first generation Salvadoran-American designer. He is a graduate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he received a Master of Architecture degree, and the University of Florida, where he received a Bachelor of Design. His interests lie at the intersection of urbanism, art, architecture, and social engagement. His work includes the design of objects, installations, and design proposals at an architectural and urban scale.

At MIT he was the recipient of the The Rosemary Grimshaw Award (2020), the Louis C. Rosenberg Travel Fellowship (2020), as well as a department of architecture graduate fellowship. 

His professional and research work has allowed for collaborations with a wide range of cross disciplinary practitioners, including artist, filmmaker, and creative technologist Marisa Morán Jahn, and architect and designer Cristina Parreño Alonso, among others. He has also worked in architecture studios across the United States in Boston, New York, and Seattle, as well as internationally where he worked in the Atelier of Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto, in Paris, France.
