Sketches

Drawing and sketching are very fundamental tools in my design process. Analog drawing and representation have a long lineage in the profession of architecture, and were the first tools gained in my academic career. Despite the ubiquity of the computer in the design processes today, analog drawing serves as an exercise that helps to slow down my design process. One in which I can begin to embed ideas about space, program and habitation, while also better understanding the context within which I intervene.
